YOU WILL NEED:
Coffee filters (used filters that have been washed are fine)
Towel
Plastic sheet
Small jars or cups
Food colouring
2 to 4 eyedroppers
Pipe cleaners
Coloured beads
Fishing line

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cover the table with the plastic sheet. 
2. Lay the filters out on the newspaper.
3. Fill each jar with 50ml of water and add different food colouring to each one.
4. Use separate eyedroppers for each colour and put a few drops onto the filter to make different patterns. If you want, let each colour dry before adding another.
5. When dry, fold each filter like a fan.
6. Bend a pipe cleaner in half, wrap it around the middle of the filter and twist together.
7. To make the body, slip a bead down the pipe cleaner.
8. To make the wings, spread the filter apart.
9. To make the antennae, spread the ends of the pipe cleaner apart and twist a small coil.
10. Tie some fishing line around the middle to hang in your bedroom.
